sm. glass bottles
I found some small (15cc capacity) glass bottles with metal screw-on caps. A 3-pack for $1.00 at Walmart. You can find them at the store in the craft-jewelry aisle..
.. or buy them on-line ..

Lots of uses around the shop and in the field-tote.

roddie:
I found these at the local 99c store for $1.00 for 4 with cork. This cork has been cut for another use. My wife wanted the glass bottles, but i think they are hard plastic. If interested PM me.
4 for $1.00 with correct cork.

Re: sm. glass bottles
Yours have a nice look to them.. but you thought that they might be plastic. I appreciate the offer.. but I prefer the glass bottles that I found, even though they are thin glass. I also like the screw-on metal caps. I imagined the uses that I could find for them, related to our hobby. The caps have a seal that should keep touch-up/trim-paint and thinner good for a while.
The bottles are .860" diameter.. and I envisioned building a rack to hold a row of 6-8 bottles by drilling 7/8" (.875") diameter through-holes for the bottles to fit into.. with a solid lower shelf. Something that could hook onto the outside of a field box.. and be easily removable. The bottles could contain extra prop-screws/nuts, glow-plugs, sm. tubes of CA-glue, baking-soda (CA accelerator for field repairs) C/L line-connectors, rubber-bands, spare needle-valves, solder... fuses.. all of which would be easily identifiable.. and "external" to all the other crap that we bring to the field..
