Rules: You may post *one (1) picture of an engine or a group of engines that are alike (for example: a collection of Space Bug Jr.s that feature each color tank). The engine must be a Cox engine, it can be stock or parts built. Cox engines using aftermarket or handmade parts and multi-cylinder engines are allowed as long as they feature Cox made crankcase(s) and cylinder(s). Although proof isn't required, engines that are built using aftermarket or handmade parts have to be able to run. A good example of a non-running homemade engine that wouldn't qualify for this contest is found HERE. Disassembled engines are allowed as long as all parts are visible and the engine is in running condition when assembled.
If you are unsure if your picture qualifies, feel free to contact the administrator with questions.
* You may post multiple "pictures" as long as they are all joined together in one picture. (This is done in image editing software before uploading)
MAIN POINTS
•One picture
•Picture shall be of one engine or engines that are alike (a Babe Bee and a Tee Dee .049 together would NOT qualify)
•Must be a Cox Engine
•Engines using aftermarket or handmade parts must feature Cox made crankcase(s) and cylinder(s)
•Engine must be able to run
Optional Caption
Along with your picture you may include a caption that describes or explains the picture. The caption should include the name and displacement of the engine. The caption has to be short as if you picture wins, it will be posted under the picture in the sidebar. If you do not include a caption, one will be thought up for you.
After 5 days, the first 10 pictures will be moved to another topic to be voted on by other members. The winner will have their engine displayed on the sidebar of the forum and forever listed on the past winners page.
Looking forward to see what you guys come up with! Good Luck!
BE SURE TO READ THE RULES

I thought this was an engine of the month contest
>>>>>>>>>UPDATE 7-14 AND NOT FOCUSED ON THE ENGINE. FOCUSED ON FINKY!<<<<<<<<<<
I hate to be picky, old fashioned, or whatever, but I thought the name of the contest was”Cox Engine of The Month”, NOT anything with an engine on it?
Haven’t we gotten a little off the mark here. Boats, planes, cars, mouse traps? An engine is an engine. A plane with an engine is still a plane with an engine. A mouse trap with an engine is still a mouse trap with an engine.
Nothing personal Mark
And that is my 2cents for the day.

Hello robot797
I don`t sell those parts. I did those parts a while back and did not make any drawings or saved the dimensions of any of them. I was going to use it to replace an electric motor on a small boat but I had a life altering experience,I got divorced and had to move so I had to forget about the project.

This is a great picture. really cool engines! However, can you choose one of them as the subject of the photo? They are all TD .09s, but there is some major modifications in comparison to the stock TD.
We're going to be getting a little tighter with the rules. I do agree that the engine needs to be the subject of the picture, this is indeed the "Cox Engine of the Month" however it is acceptable for the engine to be pictured on a model, or whatever display you make for it.
I'll be posting the Jan-June Cox Engine of the Month Ex Model Engines Black Lynx engine drawing soon!!!!

Sorry,
I did pick the one and I got it installed into a 48 inch Tomboy and flew it this morning.
The engine is a Cox Tee Dee .09 with a Enya Quicky .09 carburetor.
I flew the plane on 10% Sig Champion fuel.
The prop is a Graupner 8x4
Engine idles at 3300 --- 3500rpm, top rpm is almost 17,600. the plane is scary fast at open throttle.
Fuel tank I made from Brodak metal tank kit, solder together to make a 2 ounce tank.
Flying weight is 18 oz.
Pick which photo you want for the contest.
48 inch Tomboy with Cox Tee Dee .09 with a Enya Quicky .09 carburetor installed and hand made 2 oz. metal fuel tank.
