Re: New Flight: Pitts -Skelton Aerobatic model (page 9)
Well, these are some details that I want to add as thread information.
Here I show these "false ribs" that serve as containment for the upright, placed inside the wing and under the raft veneer.
This will be the transmission of spoiler controls, I have used the back of fishing hooks to achieve the connection between them.
The micro servos already housed in the wing, with a safety nylon strap.
The nylon straps are screwed to the wing by means of a wooden stud that offers resistance to the screw.

Beautiful. What is your film cover application secret Mauricio? Not one single air bubble left between the balsa and the film, and between film patterns like the red squares and the white base..very smooth coverage..

Thanks Eric!!!! Thanks András !, I will try to explain what I do in my terrible English as a translator, if you don't understand something please ask again.
First of all I do not use a special iron for hobby, I use a domestic iron of my own choice, that is, with a lot of heating power.
I used a hobby iron once but I did not finish adapting.
My iron is regulated according to error testing made a long time ago and I have pre-established some temperature marks to handle according to the sector and the type of material.
So:
I divided my own iron into sectors:
A
B
C
I am regulating the temperature of each sector as I need more or less heat, as if it were about flying and regulating acceleration.
To initially hold the bottom (in this case white) the entire perimeter I do it first, with sector A and temperature in position 2.
To shape the curves I then apply Sector C and temperature between 2 and 3 according to the type of curve.
Once everything is subject - grabbed - taken, I lower the temperature to point 1 and use the whole sector B to pass through the entire surface.
For everything that is monokote overlay (like red squares, or blue strips) I use sector A with temperature 1.
If there are any air bubbles left, then I puncture the same with a well-sharpened trench blade and I pass again the sector A of the iron with a temperature between 2 and 3.
Once everything is in place, I pass the iron over the entire surface with sector B of the iron at temperature 1.
I hope you have understood ...

Aren't we lucky.. This thread has been amazing.. to say the least!
I'd fallen behind in reading my CEF friend's threads. I'm not yet current with this one.. but this quoted-post made me chuckle..

A detail to show you, I decided to leave the wing in an arrow and not turn the section into a frontal area like the original, two things happen to me, I like it more aesthetically and consider it better for the penetration of the upper wing Especially if the engine is planted In mid-flight, this shape offers less resistance to penetration and may aid better gliding performance.

Re: New Flight: Pitts -Skelton Aerobatic model (page 9)
Thanks Eric, you know, you have become a friend to me, you don't need to see us to know that mutual appreciation is real, I want many American friends, and someday it would be great to be there, with all of you. , share and fly together, then, my humble work has a direct relationship with the United States, the colors, the type of plane, in short, it is somehow being closer.
I hope you continue to enjoy this thread, I am doing it, it has also brought together more people from other places like András from Hungary, Levent Suberk Turkey, NEW222 Canada ... and how many more people from different places in the world, ... is say, passion DOESN'T HAVE A FLAG, we are all ourselves ... I will do it Be with this project I hope you all like it!

Re: New Flight: Pitts -Skelton Aerobatic model (page 9)
well, this is the finished cabin of this Pitts, the format based on the initial matrix I made, fits perfectly, keeping the fuselage line, I like that, put a black outline, just to make it stand out and I really like it how it looks.
Paint the engine mount or mainframe and F1 in black, the entire rear installation of the engine will stand out more and also protects from future splashes by the fuel.
He really is a model that fills my eyes friends !!
