How many people here like or hate these automatically sent newsletters? https://www.coxengineforum.com/news
Every time they get sent out, I always receive at least 2 replies from members who either complain about the advertisements (political/controversial in nature) in the newsletters or the content chosen.

These newsletters are automatically generated, I nor any member on here puts them together.

You can disallow them from being sent by changing a setting in your profile, but I'm thinking about just disabling them all together.

I don’t understand what everyone is seeing as the newsletter only contains pertinent or recent topics on CEF. That is what I see, nothing political in nature.

Are we talking adverts/popups?

The ads appear in between the topics and at the bottom in the emailed out version.

Hmm ok, I don’t know. Maybe a poll is in order. If it doesn’t appear to be beneficial or causes unnecessary work on your part then maybe it needs to go.

I don't know what you're talking about.  I've never received an email newsletter about CEF, ever!  I'm certainly not feeling like I'm missing out.
(Now I've said that, I hope I don't start getting them Affraid or WOW! )
