Why don't people check their spelling? I think nothing looks worse on EBay than a semi-literate, or miss-spelled listing, I have been put off bidding very often by the questions it raises for me!

Could be an attempt at an estate sale by a relative or friend who isn't familiar with what they've got.

Yes, I'm prepared to accept that not everyone who lists stuff necessarily knows anything about it, but what I object to is laziness in not checking spellings, I know that a lot of people can't spell, but if I am not sure of a word (like "necessarily"!) I check it before I put it up for public scrutiny!
Stars and STRIPS? POWDERED by? But then I suppose I'm a bit of a old pedant!
