Ring Rat 100
I have been sitting on a Stevens Aero Ring Rat 100 for a couple of years now, Its a cute looking little thing that I bought at the old Wrams show before it became the AMA Expo East which incidentally starts tomorrow. It is a very well made kit with really nice laser cutting designed for electric. I think I got it for $35.00 as a show special looking at it last night I started thinking about converting it to Nitro Power. I bought it to fly down at the shore by my Mothers house for in the mornings before we head to the beach for something fun to do with the kids instead of sitting on the porch staring blindly into their phones, and with electric power it hopefully wouldn't draw enough attention to [bleep] anybody off with noise , to make a long story short the lot we were going to fly on now has a house on it so it wont be heading to the shore anymore. I am not interested in electric at this point, and I have a LOT of 1/2 A engines to choose from , has anyone flown one of these and how did you like it? Thanks TJ

That's the plane, it should be easy enough to change around.

Re: Ring Rat 100
Ive been keeping up on them since I bought it but it seems like a lot of stuff to buy for electric and at this point in just not interested in electric as long as fuel and glow plugs are available im flying nitro, and I think it would fly just fine on nitro

Ha Ha in NO way was i directring you to elect. , just checking out the kit and build info don't look to hard to switch to Nitro TD or Medallion would bee easy but at that size i wouldn't want to run it wide open !

Re: Ring Rat 100
It's probably going to serve trainer duty with my nephew after he gets bored with the Skyray but if it survives that it's probably going to be a fun flyer / engine testbed with the huge flat firewall it has. TJ
