I knew that I heard that name before. I had watched a documentry on TV about him not too long ago. I believe that it was Air Aces.

I started putting the strut pieces together and came up one short pictured upper left. Looked everyplace where I had opened the box. Finally went back to the box itself and took all the bubble wrap apart and sifted through the peanuts. No joy, but I did find a small part of the machine gun about an inch long. A needle in a haystack.
They sure kicked that box around.
Old Doug needs a bath. Foam with a hard shell. Very well done.
