I see it runs Kim is it a good runner easy to start ? Good looking engine !

Yes, it started right up on some Sig 10%. I didn't tach it, but it sounded strong and needled steady.

Ken, nice, thanks for sharing, you don't see many of those today. Judging by the Sceptre Flight engine article, seems to be a nice stunt engine, able to keep up with the others back in its day.

George, this was one that my father had for years. He recently found them and he gave them to me. In addition, he had two O&R .23's front intake side exhaust. They were like brand new and fired right up. Engines like this never appealed to me and I past many of them over. My son though really has a love for the old engines. It really surprised me how he took such a liking to them and we both started to collect these old timers. The Drone .29 that we converted to glow is one we fly all day. We have tried everything to make it stunt but we have only managed large loops. While I don't fly all of the old stuff, I sure like hearing them on the stand.
