Re: TIEBREAKER-POLL **COX-ENGINE-OF-THE-MONTH** (May 2018)
I want this to be fair, and here to evaluate the effort and talent, on the one hand the editing, the image and environment of Kim, on the other hand, all the investigative activity put into practice by the friend Brad ... it is difficult, I know I have to decide, but, how to value both, I think they deserve a place on the podium both ... to be fair, it must be like this .... I will only throw a coin, because I can not make one stand out for another, both are they're worth it!
There goes my vote friends .....

Re: TIEBREAKER-POLL **COX-ENGINE-OF-THE-MONTH** (May 2018)
Thank you Mauricio for your considerations
Very kind to share your thoughts, yes you've got Uncle Wayne watching, his back yard, Kim at the controls,
his plane and finally the icing on the cake the War Dog in action! A mere static shot of a Cox engine competing
with all that background of the month detail is going to take a miracle lol. The add on's helped to make 41w / 88 mph
prop pitch speed with a 3.75 x 4.5, many more new adds to follow. Will be testing: RC carb, muffler, turbo plug, tuned pipe,
and billet crankcase with bearings! Truly undeniable resurgence for those who enjoy small Cox IC projects of all disciplines.

Congrats Kim. I also try flight vids shot with keychain cams carried on board but placing them on wing tips to avoid castor mist hitting the lens is a balancing challenge with my 1/2A and smaller birds. Nice shot and am interested in the full vid if you have.

Congratulations to Both Tie entres. Great photos on both entries
A running, castor slinging, screaming engine has the upper hand in this winning picture! Bonus photo bomb of the pilot tipped the scale for me! keep up the fun.

Thank you !!
Don't know if I've edited a video of the 2M B.O.T. with War Dog on board, but DO have this one of it flying with a Tee Dee. Sailplanes are a little more tolerant of stuff being taped to them.

Impressive flight, Kim, that Tee Dee (.049?) really moves that 2M glider through the air, definitely not underpowered by any means even though the BOT has generous wing area. Also the BOT rolls really nice, not bad for a rudder and elevator plane.

Thank you!
No, the land surrounding my little rental house belongs to my landlady and her family. My landlord (a great guy) passed away two years ago. The farm has been in their family since the 1800's. I spend a lot of relaxing time walking the fence rows, and fly from the big field to the west when it's been cut for hay.
I moved here right after my last divorce in 1998. This Fall will mark 20 years that I've lived on the hill, and am proud to say that I've had a great relationship with the folks that own it. I watch their barns and farm equipment when I'm home and they watch the house and my sheds when I'm off on one of my squirrelly adventures.
I think I've provided considerable entertainment over the years with my various model airplane antics, front yard airplane maintenance, and my "AR-15 Pest Control" has also been appreciated.
It's a beautiful place, and I know I'm lucky to be here !
