Re: Sig Nitro Rascal/ Norvel Big Mig 074
I love them as much as my Cox engines even though they are hands down better. I just started flying them about 4 or 5 years ago and I was instantly hooked! I have a a Great Planes Escapade that I flew for a year with a Magnum 40 with a neat mecoa diesel head conversion but I got tired of cleaning the soot off of it after each flight. I even went as far as making my own fuel and it was fun but I opted to change the engine out. I came very very Close to ordering the new Norvel Gx40 gasoline 2 stroke engine but I got a good deal on a barely used Os 70 4 stroke and I've really feel in love with that engine. Norvels are held high on my list.

The Norvels are better but it's not a fair comparison when you look at it. 1950-60's technology vs 1980's technology. Roy Cox was extremely innovative and he built a quality products that we all still use years later.
