Re: Vintage U control tether car
Cool antique! Assume it's battery powered? Good Canidate for a friction drive Enya?
Second look, I noticed it is a "Remco" product. I was sooo disappointed when I received the Remco SHark one Christmas wayyy back in the early 60's. Check out the high speed operation of the SHARK in comparison to a 049 powered vehicle!

I just watched the video, that’s too funny. I can almost hear the disappointment.

Re: Vintage U control tether car
Here's something that may be of interest to those who don't want to spend the high dollars to create a vintage looking replica. Most likely one would have to roll their own powertrain. Also, I don't know how sturdy they would be for tether use.

WOW
That Yellow car is just something else, look at the dual exhausts, the suspension, and most obvious that AMAZING drive-train/diff.......This is something I wish I could afford right now, so so so in love!!!!
