Active Content ???

Some sellers use third party programs to jazz up their sell pages, you've seen em before . Photos in the description and flashing stuff. eBay is stopping all of it soon.

Geez.. that's all "greek to me..".. I think that Doug may have your answer though. I've noticed my being "tracked" on queries as "ads" on other sites lately.

Tracking is getting more intrusive than ever, its getting harder to stop it. About 8 months ago I took heed of some warnings and started running add blockers and antivirus on my Mac.
The add blockers are fantastic, they stopped my browser hijacks and most trackers. I clear my browser of cookies often per day and noticed eBay has learned to bury cookies deep in my Safari files
that aren't easily deleted (evercookie or supercookie), I have to go into Safari library and manually remove them. I stopped running Flashplayer years ago because evercookies were being hidden in there. You delete them and they come back. In the last week the antivirus has blocked about a dozen malware attempts from eBay, strange.
Active content is just what eBay calls the third party programs sellers use on their listing pages, and they are stopping the practice and have been warning sellers of the change.
