Kim's Super Tiger G-.15
Kim generously sent his Super Tiger .15 to my son and I to knock around with on a few birds. I pondered with shoeing it into my clown racer but it's wider spacing would introduce some unwanted surgery. I do have another clown which I think will be a donor for this jewel. To my surprise, it was an exact match on my nose block and mounts for a foamie F2D plane I scratch built. Phil Cartier had given me some wing cores he wasn't using and told us to build a few knock around practice planes. I hope to get some airtime on it this weekend. Doing a bit of research on the old ST I found it was quite popular with the .15 size Nemesis. While this is no Nemesis it has approx equal squares and wing area just about 380 squares. Phil is a great guy and a terrific person to be able to fly combat with. He's been very helpful. He provides me with his decals and I use them all the time on my builds.
The plane had a typical rear exhaust F2D engine . The muffler is in the leading edge so I epoxy aluminum foil into the cutout to prevent melting.
