I have to find a new home for my old car.  As a youngster I always wondered why I only saw old fat bald guys driving Corvettes. Now I know, only old fat bald guys could afford the insurance!! The insurance was as much as the car payment . Much more affordable now as a "historic vehicle " Last time it was played with was Father's Day 1988.

I'm guessing it's a '76½. What do I win?

Bob, you do MArvelous work!! Never did a full body restoration like that. Was a member of a Corvette club, did a few auto crosses, a number of road trips, was in the "Worlds Largest Corvette Prade" and the world premier of "Corvette Summer" staring Mark Hamill and Annie Potts. Tons of Fun....way back in BC,  before children.

IIRC, it was delivered Jan77, I purchased in July'77  as a divorce present to myself.  Wink

It does have T-Tops factory original, and Moonroofs of silver reflective glass.PPG

I bought the house and garage its stored in a year later, and am in the process of selling the house, so I've lost my free storage, after all these years.

My lovely wife of 37 wonderful years, has bet me I no longer fit in the car, or can't get in or OUT. ...I did get in....struggle to get back out!! Don't tell her! lol!

Is the white one at the bottom the same model that Johnny Depp drove in the film Rum Diary?

I'm a Johnny Depp fan, but never saw that movie.

It's an early 1959, 20th one off the line that year.

It is worth seeing, a good one showing Depp in the role of a rum-soaked lawyer in Puerto Rico....co-starring is his present wife Amber Heard (under divorce??), and as far as I remember a red Ford Thunderbird....or similar, or same as the white car on the right of the bottom photo.
