I'm double-posting this so that as many as possible might read it.
An FYI -
I had an experience that causes me concern about a seller of model airplane items.
If you frequent eBay you might do well know about it and him.
To avoid any issues on the forum, PM for details.

I've chosen not to publicly detail the event in some small hope that if he is a forum member he'll contact me with a reasonable explanation, in which case I'd post an "All's well" notice.
I can only hope he's not a forum "brother" - my view is that we come here to help, not take advantage of, each other.

I would like to know what happened and who. I got hosed a while back by VGE Vintage Glow Engines and don't care who reads it, he used to post here. PM me if you don't want to post name, I might know if seller is a forum member.

Mistakes and misinterpretations can happen so I'd suggest it would be wise to take caution when mentioning any names or businesses. Reputations can tend to stick, and if we get it wrong it's awfully hard to retract the damage that can be done.

The seller originally mentioned (I think the post or details must have now been removed) has always had a lot of really nice engines to sell. I've never bought any, but I have communicated with him and found him pleasant & helpful. Just saying for what it's worth. We all have different experiences.

Rod.

Before posting about this, Rod, I contacted the seller, explaining my intent to do so, and he's chosen not to respond with any explanation.
It may be difficult to accept, but I'm not out to "get" him - I could have posted some scathing diatribe - but simply to inform the community of my experience.
I'm not vindictive but I am ethical, and as I said above, I'll happily post a retraction (and a public apology) if he has a valid reason for his action.
