P-40 propeller needed!
Looking for another (original) propeller for my freshly arrived Thimble Drome P-40, original one had a blade broken off during transport.
Who can help me out?
Thanks, Perry

together with anything else that you would like (we offer combined shipping)

Re: P-40 propeller needed!
Welcome to the forum Perry.
I would jump on Bernie's offer. After reading your
post, I did a short scour of the net, and came up
with nada. The 3 blade, right hand Cox 5-3 prop is
disappearing species. Most of us have at least a
couple in our stash, but I'm guessing your going
for a display piece. Bernie's will fit the bill.
If you are going to fly , I can send you a
used one(you'll need a bunch). Send an address via PM.
Post a photo when you get her done, if you like.

Thank you Bob if it is possible you can miss a used one, please.
Will send you pm for my adress.
A few words about me; last flight I made with a Cox model was about 40(!) years ago with a Wings Hustler trainer.
Recently I was cleaning the attic and found that long lost little friend, the Hustler. Complete with its papers and tools.
I started restoring it (made quite some crashes!) and recently have run the engine for the first time almost 40 years.
The virus had cought me again and which resulted to aquire an early 60`s Stuka (green one) and two weeks ago the P-40 which are both restoration projects. The Hustler will fly again as soon as the weather permits, the Stuka seems it just made one flight or so. The engine hasn`t run in it seems and overall there almost no traces of wear except for that one unlucky landing which gave some damage which was fixed in an easy way. It is almost to perfect to fly, the chance is there it will be a hangar queen! The P-40 has more chance to fly because it has more damage to repair, engine seems it has never run! Pictures will follow.

Re: P-40 propeller needed!
OOPS!
The single prop was listed for "birdman" and was subsequently purchased by whom we thought to be that person. Turns out it was someone else and now "birdman" is looking for his prop.
It was our fault for posting the link onto a public forum and not specifying that this was only for the intended recipient.
By the same token, we do thank the other buyer for placing a nice little order in conjunction with the prop purchase and we dug up another similar prop for "birdman".
All is good

Bob,
We don't have PM activated as we don't monitor the forum every day. Can you please send the message to "support@coxengines.com"
Thanks
