Cox Engine of the Month! (ENTRY CLOSED)
Well guys, I think Dave's time is up!
It's time to post your entry for Cox engine of the month. If it can be agreed, we can extend the 5 day entry time to cover the Tach Race. (many sent their best engines in)
Info -
"Cox Engine of the Month! The cox engine of the month was 49er's idea, unfortunately 49er has left us. For the next 5 days, members may post 1 picture of their or someone else's engine (as long as they say who's it is). After the 5 days are up, 5 (unless there is under 10 posted) pictures will be randomly chosen and another 5 days will be taken to vote on the pictures. Lets give this a try!"

i'll set up the poll after 5 days, if there's more than 5 contenders, i'll randomly choose 5, like always

.049
They look great. I made a super running Venom but only divit is scratched tank. Looks great but need to either refinish tank ot get another unmarked. Best Reddie so far for me. Quite happy with it. When i get a good finished tank I will post it. Also did a Killer Bee .049 and another .051 but just need minor parts.

Very nice!
I too love the way the light hits the crankcase and that lights up the whole engine.

Where did you get it?
900th post!
MFD, thanks(If you're refering to the yellow case one).
Made it from parts. That's a Vintage Glow Engines case with a #1 piston/cylinder and standard head.
Thanks also Indra, I blush.

I wish. This is Reggie Johnson's work. He's based in South Carolina.
He usually has quite a color assortment of anodized and powder coated cases for sale.
His site is down at present, but here's the link with his e-mail address.

Does he have some kind of shop/store here?
Re: Cox Engine of the Month! (ENTRY CLOSED)
I don't think it's anodized. It looks powder coated.
It just looks "thick" in the picture.

Not sure, I've only dealt with him on his web site and his e-bay store.
I don't know if the e-bay store is still up. I believe it was also called Vintage Glow Engines.

OK, here's my entry...the Space Bug Jr., not the BW.
Edit: New pic without BW. Also, now sporting one of Bernie's spinners.
