Christmas in Australia is a very different affair to what most on this forum will experience. We are looking at a possible high temp of 35〫C on Christmas day- not unusual. Sadly, we still don't seem to be able to shake off our European traditions of cooking a hot roast midday meal, which in the heat is about as impractical for the cook as one can get. I find it rather perplexing that we still hang Christmas lights all over our houses (It's becoming a huge competition in our town) when it's daylight until 9.30pm, and we put up all sorts of colourful decorations with a snow theme, even to the point of spraying fake frosting on windows. I can understand that in the Northern Hemisphere at this time of year things are rather dull and bleak, with leaf-less trees, grey skies and snow choking up the neighbourhood.

This is the natural image of our town's main street at this time.

Friends of CEF, it is very nice to share and learn from the history of many articles that I have ever seen in stained glass of some trade. You, with your years and experiences, are turning up very important stories, that of engines, that of planes and that is beautiful, full of feelings and desires, that this great passion that one feels, makes oneself feel part of you.
Thanks to all who make CEF possible, because it is a way to brighten my days. I send them a big greeting and wish everyone a beautiful Christmas. This is a photo of Argentine customs: the roast .... reason for many meetings and celebrations with friends.
