I wish I had that much room.
Elbows in, and turn to the side slowly, at my table.

Re: Workbench clutter
That engine ran so poorly I took it apart and put the parts back on the engines they came off.

You guys are neatnicks,,
That reminds me, I need to get some good pull-out parts bins today.
I have one that is going to go the way of the sledge hammer.

Good thing my workbench is neat and organized so I can find my Vice-Grips.
Is that burn mark in the shape of a cox engine?

Would have liked to burn the one in the photo! I was trying to solder a gas tank and melted everything, oooppss! Had to buy a new tank.

Re: Workbench clutter
Yep, I've heard that a neat, organized workbench is a sign of possible psychopathic tendencies!

Mark,
If that is true then I may be in trouble. I wonder if they let you build airplane models in maximum security?
I have to clean up after each use. Pop's stressed cleanliness when I was a kid.

Re: Workbench clutter
Lol, I don't know, it probably just a rumor, I actually clean everything off at least once every year or two.
Re: Workbench clutter
Yes, I must clear my bench one of these years!

It's not clutter, it's just a dozen or so projects going on simultaneously!
Re: Workbench clutter
Here is my humble contribution. And to think my entire collection used to fit in that box... Can you find 3 .020's, three Babe Bees, a Norvel .061, two pairs of needle nose pliers, and a Sullivan 1oz tank.
Re: Workbench clutter
I spent decades working on machines in customers' offices while they did their business all around me. I had to force myself to transform into a neat worker. I had to lay parts(sometimes filthy black and nasty) in neat rows, watch out for the carpet and every half hour or so I would repack my tools and reorganize.
It carried over into my home workshop when I found work went much faster when I could put my hand on a tool without looking all around for it. I still do it, but it's wearing off now that I don't get paid to be neat. I can't find a picture of my work table.
