That's what i was thinking but the ones i have tried don't want to go into the plastic hole like the originals do , these are the straight one of coarse. Thanks for the reply too. Eric

Mark will your spring go down into the back plate hole ? the one i tried from a BB didn't want to go in as easy as the original. And wanted to catch on the needle lip. when turning out . Maybe i can find anouther to try i am short on BBs from usually .

Re: SPACE BUG JR. NEEDLE VALVE SPRING ?
looking at pics (forgot to physically check) they look the same, other than than the new ones having a smaller knob, it would work.
Re: SPACE BUG JR. NEEDLE VALVE SPRING ?
Oops, ok so actually looking, it appears the Space Bug Jr./Space Bug does have a slightly smaller diameter spring, it does fit into the Space Bug Jr. plastic backplate and the needle is the same, SB, SB jr., Babe Bee, etc.

Re: SPACE BUG JR. NEEDLE VALVE SPRING ?
Lol, years ago when I raced Q500, I was talking to Dubb Jett on the phone and he remarked "Anything will work right, once!" I thought that was a pretty cool saying and quickly adopted it.
I think there's Cardinal fans and non-Cub fans saying that this morning!

I went to a couple of Cardinals games in 1998-99, once some colleagues, my wife and myself even got into the "box" rented by our customer. Saw McGwire hit a couple of home runs
One of my favourite sayings is "90% of the time it works every time"
About the spring thing, aren't some of the product engine springs smaller diameter than a regular Bee item? Postage stamp engines seem to have smaller springs, I think, not sure if they will fit a Space Bug jr. though.
