Wen Mac P-38
Hello,
Does anyone out there have, or know of a Wen Mac P-38 lightning with twin gas motors for sale? I'm interested in securing one in nice shape for my collection. I already have the Testors version that has twin gas engines (former owner said he got the second engine from Testors back in the day at no cost and just by asking for it, installed it and flew it with two engines) and I would like it's earlier counterpart. Thank you.
Joe

Nope, don't know of any for sale here. Try searching eBay that's where you'll have more luck locating one for sale. It's been awhile but we did have a thread on one:

P-38
Thanks to those who replied to my inquiry. The Lightning listed under the Ebay auction provided is the Testors version that I already have but I do appreciate the lead. The price is pretty high for a plane that is missing one nose cone, has some warping issues to the wing and elevator and has only part of its radio wire. Again, I'm looking for the Wen Mac version of the gas powered model that is most commonly seen in a gray color with two gas engines but it was produced in several other colors which are very rarely seen for sale. Please contact me if you have or know of one for sale as I am very interested in securing one of these for my display. Thank you.

Re: Wen Mac P-38
Thanks for the lead on the P-38 Lightning but that one is in really poor shape and is a Testors version of this plane that I already have. Again, I'd like to find the earlier version of the Lightning that was made by Wen Mac that is in nice shape and complete to add to my display.
