More well photographed steps.
Which covering material did you use?
I can see that it is iron on but did you apply anything to the balsa wood before applying the covering?

Beutiful airplane of the Great Frank Ehling, but I think that with the big angle wing diedral it is not necessary ailerons. But really have a vintage shape.

Hello Ian,
MONOKOTE use.
Do not put anything in the wood, the coating material goes directly to the timber and is applied by means of temperature.
I use a clothes iron for gueso and a welder for smaller places like the engine cowling, greetings, Mauricio.-

Re: VIDEOS: AMA´S by Frank Ehling . Cox 010 (pag. 4) and Cox 020 (pag.5)
I drew a picture of internet board, printed and made assembly sequences.

The board was printed on photographic paper and then has a transparent plastic adhesive to protect the print:

Mauricio.-
Hello !, you are from Spain !, I speak Castilian so if you write me you can do it in Spanish, anyway out of respect to the site'll leave the translation to continue sharing.
True, the original model does not include spoilers, just rudder, but I made this modification by personal taste, also modify the original dihedral, ailerons as to possess was a lot.
I'll see how it turns out, I like the flight ailerons with rudder only.
I send you a hug and thanks for letting me your comment. Mauricio.-

Re: VIDEOS: AMA´S by Frank Ehling . Cox 010 (pag. 4) and Cox 020 (pag.5)
Thanks for the info. Monokote isn't available in the UK - the nearest we have is Solarfilm for weight but it isn't fuel proof.
It also doesn't stick very well to raw balsa especially sheet material and so I have to seal the surface first.
The other iron on products tend to be a little too heavy for small planes but they stick and are fuel proof.(within limits!).

Very very nice Mauricio! Thanks for sharing so many details! They are very helpful to the scratch-builder! I also enjoy your "spirit" of challenging design-spec. for alteration/improvement. "Nothing ventured.. nothing gained".

Ian Hello !, as always, a pleasure for me to share with you all through this excellent forum.
How strange that in England not get MonoKote ?? !!, is an excellent material to work in large and small models.
