VIDEOS: AMA´S by Frank Ehling . Cox 010 (pag. 4) and Cox 020 (pag.5)
Hello !, I share with you, these two new models that I decided to build.
It was designed by Mr. Frank Ehling, published in the journal RCM 1966 and the model name is PT AMA.
The construction plane got it through the following website:
http://www.outerzone.co.uk/plan_details.asp?ID=5720
I am making one for a Cox 010 and the other 020 for Cox.
I will fabricarle ailerons and rudder leave him fixed. Obviously I will command in the depth, the idea is to make two channels.
I take me a while but I hasten some photos, greetings, Mauricio.-

I love it! Can't wait to see both fly.

Almost a production line. I learn a lot from looking at build pictures.
I can see that you have already formed the ribs using the end template/sandwich method. Are you going to cut the slots while they are all together?

From the Outerzone plans it looks like there are no spars, just a leading & trailing edge, so no need for slots.ian1954 wrote:Almost a production line. I learn a lot from looking at build pictures.

Hello !, thanks for your words.
Originally the soul only takes leading edge and trailing edge, but decided to add a stringer of 3 x 3 mm (1/8 x 1/8 ) and I'll put spoilers!
We see that result gives us !, greetings...Mauricio.-

Eric Hello !, I saw that you feel like building a model !, forward to work !, if you need anything, when it can help, you can count on me!
Here you have some photos of the tool to cut circles, you must be patient and go slowly cutting, as it depends on the thickness of the wood.
When measuring more than 3 mm (1/8 ), you should make a cut, turn the wood and make the cut on the other side, that facilitates the final result. You understand me?
greetings, Mauricio.-

Beautiful.
I'm just not sure about the pointy bit in front of the needle. It looks like it's waiting to pop off.
