Looks to be a later vintage black widow. 59€ is way too much for what is being offered. Maybe that's the going rate in the EU?

Moreover, shipping fees are less expensive for european buyers...

In fact I think I'll be happy with a 40 € offer...

I got one like that here in Finland for 25€ + postage not long ago. Never run, but no box or tools. Spinner, prop and starter spring were included. I think it was a good deal. 59€ is a bit much, I might go that far for an early BW in very very good condition, and after personally inspecting it. But that's just my personal opinion.

Around here about 99% of the available Cox engines seem to be late '70s - early '80s Babe Bees with Kavan tank extension kit or beat-up product engines Smile Not sure how it is in the "Continental" Europe, but in Finland anything else is pretty few and far between.

In my place - in as much as Hungary is part of Continental Europe -  the COX engines are even more of an oddity...certainly the highest concentration of them in Eastern Europe - and probably the highest absolute population with 50+, mostly vintage and NIB engines -  is in my closet...

Have a look at some vendors

http://coxengines.ca/
http://www.exmodelengines.com/

They sell new versions of the Cox reed engines made from original and new manufacture parts. In general they are slightly more powerful than the older versions since the cylinders being used are the best available porting that Cox produced as stock.

The common bee engines should not be more than buying new. There are quite a few variations of these engines through the years though.
