I've always loved the look of the Golden Hawk and had hoped to get a kit from Blackhawk Models, but bringing kits out from the U.S. is just getting too expensive. Looks like scratch build for me, although I'm looking forward to the Ringmaster Bipe kit coming from Roger.

This may also help if you have trouble with the plan site...adjust the plan size until the wingchord is 4 3/8":

Looks like a good candidate for a piece of sig's air foil and just add,a. I'd go the trailing edge. Mabee a built up fuse instead of the hollow log?

Yeah, it could definitely be helped by a little tweaking, though a lot of the appeal (for me) is nostalgia of the hollow log design itself. Mr. Musciano designed several Scientific Planes with both built-up fuses and wings. I keep threatening to start a "Zipper" project, rounding out the airfoil a bit to make it a happier up-side-down plane. Maybe get it started at some point!

is the wing cord the length of the wing span?
are you talking about the airel view or the side view of the golden hawk?

The width of the wing on the side-view. If you adjust the enlargement until it is 4 3/8 inches, you'll have the correct width, and also the right size for it's body and rudder shape.
Cut your wing panels to a span of 18" and shape their tips to match those on the top-view. I forgot to measure the stabilizer width, but it will be whatever you get when the plan is enlarged.
Hope this helps!

Re: does anyone have some golden hawk plans
I was knocking around in the shop this morning and figured I take a few photos of my own Golden Hawk Kit...maybe better explain my note, and add some dimensions.
Not the best photo to show it's measurements, but the tail plane is 7 1/4"in span.
