Castor-soaked balsa fuselage

Castor-soaked balsa fuselage
The weather here forced me to stay out of the field and finally rebuild the fuselage of my Toucan R/C. The plane weighs a good 1,5 ounce lighter now, i.e. some 500 grams without fuel.
Despite the monocote and sealing internally with dope (I guess this is what you call here the glue-like material that I finger applied in the fuse wherever I could reach 2 years ago when I built it) the good old castor has found its way and soaked the fuse...no wonder it has picked up some weight after a 100+ hours service and unavoidable gaps between the wing, canopy and the fuse. ( I wish I had picked up only 1,5 ounces of extra weight on me in the past 2 years, but nobody wants to rebuild my body and I am just too lazy to go after it)
The next storm come and I will recoat the wing as well.
