Miss America, I bought this in a bag when Cox moved from Santa Ana to Corona, clean and pretty, $100.

hey Chris,
So what's the story on these? Did they have them at the factory, did you go there to pick them up, was it a big garage sale?
p.s.
the decals for this are available on eBay.

I can't remember, Mark. They were cheap, I think! Some had engines and some didn't but they were sold in bags.

Yes Mark,
Thet had closed the Santa Ana plant and relocated the machines to Corona, CA which is south of Chino Airport a few miles in a new industrial park. We thought all was rosy but they never did much more than the same song over. The 80's were crap for them, didn't make the stuff that was really going places, they could've wiped out K&B with their manufacturing capability. Their machines were so much better. I think they would've if Bill Wisneiwski had designed for them, like Bill Selzer did with the Babe Bee and Bill Atwood with the Tee Dee, but he stayed at K&B. Roy was a master tool maker and their stuff was very accurate and to millionth's of an inch in tolerence if i recall correctly. That way they could make the .010 and it actually ran, and well. I could only imagine what a great Schnerle .61 they could've made!
