Declaration...
This December.. (1st..) my wife and I will be married 7 years. I Love her very much.. and thought to myself.. why not make the 7th year; our "Balsa Anniversary"? To make the "Balsa Anniversary" interesting.. calculate it for every seven years you've been married. When's your next anniversary.. and how many "Balsa" models have you built? At what time in your life.. did you build the most? Did your wife assist you during the building process.. or has she repeatedly dismissed your genius-level knowledge of model aeronautics as a "childish affliction"? Has "couple's-counseling" ever been discussed?
... (you can vent here in secrecy)

Re: Declaration...
Better building models than running around and whatnot.
Congratulations!

Re: Declaration...
Goodness, it's rookies like you that make me realize just how old I really am. Don't be fooled though, I can still run a mile, chain saw down a tree, and require no meds. Mom lived to be 104 and all of my grandparents lived equally long and productive lives.
My wife and I celebrated 58 years of marriage last June 9th. We graduated together from Raymond High School in Raymond NH and have known each other for the best part of 70 years.
The down side is that now she suffers from advanced Alzheimer’s. But we don’t let that get us down. We still live an active life and enjoy every day.
Congratulations to you and your wife...
