I wanted to throw this out,Let us not forget the Veterans both past and present who fought and fight for this wonderful country we call America..

Thanks, Rat. We won't forget. My wife got our my flag out and ready to plant in the yard tomorrow. It's an old 48 star flag. I come from a long line of military folks, mostly Navy. I was rejected at 17 for impending kidney failure. That was in 1974 a month before my birthday.

Thanks for the reminder and for what the holiday means. Glad you posted.

....I wanted to be a fighter pilot but my vision was poor and back then contacts ? but you couldn't fly with glasses in combat Sad

Wish I had gone in anyway could have been a mechanic ! Laughing

Ditto that Eric!! I am legally blind in my left eye (uncorrectable) and was told I'd never be able to be an Air Force Pilot.
