Re: My week's deal
Ahaaaaa... Bastiaan sent me those with the Cessna Centurion I bought off him a few weeks ago
Re: My week's deal
I cant believe that they refuse to give you those boxes! What the **** is the problem to give away some of those small boxes. They dont have any value for them (a couple of cents maybe), but it could be interesting for a collector.
When I got a empty box again, and it will be fold down flat enough to fit in a postbus, I will be happy to send you one.
Ideeman, i am happy to see that you enjoy your boxes. DId you already find some glue for the model? Maybe you can post some pictures on the forum and drop a question for the glue there.
p.s. i love the sound of your 2cv engine starting on youtube!

Yeah my local hobby shop "Hub Hobby" is known as the rudest hobby shop in the state. The employees that work there are real assholes (excuse my language). I'm sure I have shared this story on here before but they refused to sell me a wood Zinger 6x3 prop just because I said I don't have a prop balancer when they asked if I did. They also ignore you when you are standing at the engine counter wanting to look at an engine, when they finally walk over to help you, they have an attitude like "your bothering me".
Sure, let me know when you empty one of your boxes! Thanks, Jacob

I finally cut a nice square where the foam melted (due to precedent tries on hot glue and CA) and glued a piece of balsa (white glue, the one used for wood), with the control horn... It holds pretty well:
I took those when it was drying, but now it's completely transparent!
Isn't the sound of a 2CV sweet? It's even better when the muffler is installed
