Hope it's OK to post this here, as I have seen references to other forums.

If you guys would like to check out some new photos of some REALLY Tricked-Out Cox Engines, take a look at Mr. Leo Squires' Custom Masterpiece over on the .049 Collectors Group on Yahoo !!!!

Something to think about as you eye those spare cases and parts from Bernie and Matt !!!!!!

You might want to check out the photo files of the Space Bug, RR-1, Strato Bug, Babe Bee I've added alot of info the last year or so.

Also there's photo files for every RTF airplane Cox ever made.

I'm already a member of Yahoo. I filled out the form to join the groups ans no confirmation e-mail after 30 minutes. I'll check tomorrow.

Once you've joined, go to I believe, the "Links" section. Somewhere over there resides complete instructions on anodizing aluminum parts I ain't gonna pursue it (one more piece of support equipment may push the walls out of my tiny shop!!), but it's very informative for those of us with little or no knowledge of the process.

Leo had engines for sale a while back and all were beauties. He sold them on ebay and made special boxes for them. Quite nice to say the least. All done with hand tools/ amazing.
