Honest man
This chap found an RC plane on the side of the road and he advertised on internet to find the original owner.

This is why name, phone number, and address should be affixed inside an easily opened compartment of the airplane, or written directly on it.
Glad to see there are honest people putting forth effort to help others.

TRUE !!!! And in spite of all the assorted miscreants we must deal with, there ARE good decent people still among us!pkrankow wrote:This is why name, phone number, and address should be affixed inside an easily opened compartment of the airplane, or written directly on it.

You MUST, however, at least give them a CHANCE to help you by tagging your beast! Small slips of paper with all the needed info should be secured in BOTH the wing and fuselage (just in case the wing is shredded and left behind in a towering tree...(all the good stuff is usually still inside the yard-darted fuse!).
At the stratospheric altitudes in which my B.O.T.'s tend to dwell, I am invested heavily in peoples' honesty to return their remains should one someday decide to go cross-country !!!
Hope for Humanity Kim

Re: Honest man
I find adhesive mailing return address labels work well to identify my model planes and boats.
