Hoppes has a variety of uses.  Live it up and buy a quart.  Buying in volume will lower the price per ounce.

x6 5oz. bottles (the only capacity that Wal-Mart stocks) cost $17.92 (+ $1.25 tax) I'd have to drive a significant distance for 2 more ounces... I'd be spending the savings in fuel cost.

and a "quart bottle" won't fit in the night-table drawer... Laughing

No Roddie you keep it in the bathroom rather than a night stand.

Then both of you can use it when you brush your teeth!

You are winding me up! I don't understand American pricing.

The cheapest cigarettes I can buy in Chicago - local 7 11 stores or whatever you call them - Malboro is $11.99, American Spirit (my choice when I am here! $13.32 including some sort of tax. A good 20% more than in the UK.

Starbuks coffee $3, UK £1.50($2.25).

Hoppes no 9 - UK £9.99 ($15) for 4oz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ian:

Perhaps UK pricing is high because of taxation imposed by more socialistic governments.

Gasoline is a good example.
