Maples Throttle Question
Hello all,
I read a few threads that mentioned Maples Throttle systems for Cox engines but I've never seen one and was wondering if someone here could explain what they are, how they work and are they still available?
Thanks,
Shawn

Re: Maples Throttle Question
Here is what they look like!
Looks like a remote (connected by tubing) exhaust restrictor.

Re: Maples Throttle Question
I know it is an "EGR" throttle. Exhaust gas recirculating is part of how it functions. This provides oxygen depleted air to the intake.
Beyond this I can't help.

Re: Maples Throttle Question
Ummm... Could it BE any more complicated? I don't see how the size and application justify the complexity. But that's just simple old me.

RE:Maples Throttle question
Now I know what my funny little round muffler with the hose nipple is really for.
It's still going on a diesel conversion and should be real quiet..Thanks for the info.
