Re: Allied Aircraft in Korea vintage photos
I visited the Wright Patterson Airforce Base Museum 10 years ago. They have a B-29 walk through museum with the noseart painted just like the B-29 "Command Decision". I'm not sure if this artwork is true to the plane or a replica. I was also fortunate to meet the co-pilot of the B-29 Bockscar which is also on display at the museum. In addition was a P-51 Mustang pilot who was the first to shoot down a German ME-262. Great stuff you provided and I truly love the early jet age . These pictures are terrific for those who like to build scale as the pics you provided show several versions of particular models. Ken
