Pretty CL planes
I've never cared much for the look of CL profile planes, so it is a treat to see that CL planes can actually be made beautiful and look more like real planes too...

Re: Pretty CL planes
Nice. I've always preferred the full bodied look too, but have only ever built profiles. The only exception being a Scientific Little Devil, a tiny hollow log which hardly compares to the magnificent Nobler and it's precision stunt companions.
I'm not sure if a great looking full body plane falls within my skill set... or patience limits. Jim Thomerson was kind enough to send me a copy of the Model Aviation issue containing plans for the Cheap Thrill, his self-designed 1/2A Tee Dee powered flapped stunter. It has built up tail feathers too. If I ever give it a go, I'll likely build something larger though.
I took immaculate care of his magazine, and after pouring over it for a couple of months, I graciously wrapped it carefully and returned it.

Re: Pretty CL planes
Here's some pictures from some of the guys in our club and we see at the contests.
Just simply amazing! I hate to even bring my planes.
