Hey, Kee. Welcome to CEF, your one stop shop for everything you need to learn how to fly... all except for handle time. We'll be working on that.
It occurred to me that hand launching is a dumb way to teach someone to get a plane with wheels into the air. I've been stooge launching for so long, I just had brain freeze and forgot that we should have been doing rolling launches. It can't go down when I let go, and the lines should tighten up faster too. Next time we go out, that's going to be the way we start. It can nose over, but the Baby Streak will pretty much jump off the ground. The next afternoon it's not raining, we'll do it. We'll bolt the biggest piece of lumber in the box on the nose and I'm betting you'll get a lap or more out of it.

If you use a cardboard runway you could negate any noseover. I imagine the Streak only needs 4-5ft of takoff space anyway. That's what I use.
