Back from Alaska!
Returned Monday from our most recent visit to Alaka!
Had senationally good weather thoughout the journey by air, train and cruise ship. This makes our sixth trip and each one has been a pure joy for both of us revisiting old as well as new locations not seen before.
We saw Denali in all it's glory although we were hustled through because we were traveling with a group. Not the best way to see Alaska but probably the most affordable as groups get the best deals not available to individuals for travel accomodations.

Re: Back from Alaska!
Welcome back, Dave. I watch a couple of Alaska shows on TV but it's as close as I've ever been. It is truly frontier country populated with rugged tough people.
Glad you had a good time, and hope you accomplished some therapeutic decompression. I hope the Rut Fairies paved over any you were stuck in before vacation.

"It is truly frontier country populated with rugged tough people." Rusty
Well said.
Alaskans are self-reliant and genuine people the type there should be more of in "the lower forty eight".
Living to the land as they do builds one's character or one doesn't last long in Alaska.
