They look like this, but are still in the package. I have some other .010, .020, .049, .09 Cox parts if your looking for anything else.

Any .020 back plates? Or how about a red .010 mount as in no tank style mount? glow heads for the same and maybe a .020 cylinder/piston?

Re: (For sale) Cox glow head starting clip
I have some .020 back plates missing 2 ears. I also have some .020 cylinder/pistons that have mangled glow heads to the point I can't get a wrench on them to remove. Have you run into this problem and how did you resolve the issue? I though about trying a stripped screw remover or a reverse drill bit to try to back them out.
The only .010 back plate mount I have is not real pretty. Sorry no .010 glow heads

Here is a .010 head.

good price that seller actually has 2 for sale.

Well, I have a backplate that has one broken tab, I was looking to replace it!
Concerning the .020 pistons/cylinders. What I would do is use the factory wrench and use the exhaust port notch in the tool to keep the cylinder in place then I would just use a pair of small vice grips on the heads since they are toast anyway. Do not use too much force as the .020 cylinder is somewhat fragile. If you feel like you have to apply to much muscle to remove the head then find a pair of pliers that has rubber inserts between the jaws and use them to hold the cylinder with the vice grips on the head. That's what I would do. Also may be a good idea to warm the cylinder to aid in releasing the head. If you wanted to save the heads then one option would be to Grind down the top until it is small enough to use a .010 tool on it or, lol you could get two pairs of pliers with rubber inserts one for the cylinder and one for the head.
If you want to sell one or two cylinder/pistons for a fair price I would be glad to remove the heads myself. How ugly is the .010 mount? is it functional? It won't be seen when I install it in my cowl. Shoot me a PM if interested in selling any of these items.

That is a good price, not sold on the whole unused bit though. It looks to have been exposed to the elements a time or two. Hard to tell if it has tool marks on it either as the pic is a bit fuzzy. Thanks Nitro!

Yep, saw that, but the description says appears to be unused. It's in my watched items, much appreciated

Yes and as a LAST resort I used pliers on the mangled glo head after soaking the cylinder in solvent and heating the cylinder CAREFULLY with a small butane torch. Grasping the mangled cylinder head with pilers, work it back and forth in small increments until you can feel movement beginning..

Before I mangle them I place the engine in front of a blow dryer for 5 mins. If that does not work I boil the engine in water with 4 or 5 drops of automatic dishwasher detergent.
I have never failed to get one loose yet.

LOL, I really need to take those "for sale" pages down. I have never sold any through my site but I have sold them in person to other guys locally.
Re: (For sale) Cox glow head starting clip
I do pretty good here, on RCU and RCG. It's better than paying Ebay fees.

Blown dryer for hair?? this will never work. Monocote heat gun generates plenty of heat, dyyer is a joke. Be careful with plastic and leave prop on engine. I use old sock to handle engine. Taking apart a cold engine that has sat for a long time will yeild bad results.
