Cox Engine of The Month
FS McCoy 29 Stunt SOLD
FS McCoy 29 Stunt SOLD
I got this engine to mount in a tether car chassis but it won't fit, it has two rings and a bushed crank. It was made by Duro-matic in the mid 50s.
I paid 30$ anyone want one?
Hi mitchg95,
I have not run the engine, it looks to be in good running condition with strong compression. I don't have the bench or proper fuel to test it.
I didn't wrench it either, thought it better left alone.

Hi Mitch,
I was dropping a few drops of gun oil down the bore through the glow plug hole and I lost the glow head on my cluttered floor somewhere.
I have a half dozen glow heads i tried to replace it with but the threads were wrong for that engine.
I don't know enough about the engine to find the proper plug, trying to find out so I can send you one.

Hi Mitch,
I lost the glow plug so tell you what I'll do, when the check comes I'll run it through my shredder, the engine is yours free.
Tell your Gram to credit her account the 32$.
PS I looked the engine up in my new American Model Engine Encyclopedia (very nice book) and it is a "Super Stunt" from 1954 with large crank
and venturi insert.
Have fun Doug
PSS The engine should be there today.
