Re: What type of glow head?
Jim, that's a Glo Bee plug. That would be the original Glo Bee. The plugs were very high performance. Unfortunately, they just weren't very reliable. They do work well however and a few different styles were made. They made a racing plug and a sport plug. The sport plug raised the compression quite high sometimes requiring a minimum of 5 gaskets. The racing plug had a combustion chamber similar to the Cox 1702 head. They usually need a very good fresh battery to kick them off. The element is in a spiral shaped flat coil. Carefully lifting the element as it's quite thin and keeping the coils in line will buy you some additional time on the plug. They worked , but they don't work as well as a Nelson/Galbreath combination. Ken
