My New Cox Babe Bee
I know this is a silly question but I need to Know. I've just re-built a Babe Bee new crank case and crank and 5 fin head, see pic. I dont Know, but I think the tank may be leaking. What's the the best way to check? Soapy water and pressure? How long should a Babe Bee on %25 nitro run, I suspect mine though seeming to run great, cuts out early. Is this because it's being bench run, and maybe overheating?

The usual suspects some to mind: clogged needle seat, missing ventiri or crankcase gasket, reed valve problem. If the tank were leadking you'd see fuel dripping from it when it was full.
Sometimes in an effort to make an engine look "pretty" the obvious is overlooked.
Your "run time" should be in the three minute range if everything is satisfactory.

Pressure test it. Close the NV, put your finger over the overflow, pump air into the fill tube using fuel hose and a syringe.

Re: My New Cox Babe Bee
So...did you make your own gasket for the tank to the case? If you used a cast case gasket then the screws do not have a seal around them and crank pressure is going into the fuel tank and/or fuel is leaking into the case.
