cox tee dee .010
hello I just purchased a early version unused jewel case tee dee .010 for $100 . not a killer deal in it's self ,I am not sure but I think that is about as much as you could get for one but it came with 2 new in package cylinder and piston sets and 3 new in packet glow plugs. and some other parts for the .010 I figured with the extra parts it was hard to pass up. my question , dose the .010 tee dee use the same cyl & piston as the reedy engines or are they different . thanks and sorry for all the questions . cheers Roger

Re: cox tee dee .010
Sounds like a killer deal to me seeing as piston/cylinder sets are rare as hens teeth. Are you planning on running it? If not you could sell the spares and pay for the engine. To answer your other question. No, there was no production reed valve .010.

Re: cox tee dee .010
I never new that,I guess you do learn something new every day . the .010 only came as a tee dee . funny I almost passed on the deal ,then I noticed the spare parts in the corner of the picture all in the early cox packaging .after trying to purchase a spare glow plug for my .010 at a stunning $20 a piece I figured it would be worth while for the plugs alone .anyway thanks for the info . I may just do as you say and sell off some of the spares. cheers Roger

Well if you do decide to let a cylinder set go. Please keep me in mind. Good find!

Re: cox tee dee .010
you scored......the 010's new in the box whether old old packaging or Jewel case go for 100 on up.................i saw one recently that went for over 300, and another for around 180.
i would love to get a piston/cylinder set for my used one.............please keep me in mind too.
