A little Bi-Slob Action !
I'm still finding both old photos and lost video footage as I root through stuff on these cold "Spring" days !!!
Here's a member of the Paducah Model Club, flying his Bi-Slob last summer...or was it the summer before?...durn old-age time-warping !!!!
Anyway, watching this makes me want one....but...must...resist....!

Re: A little Bi-Slob Action !
A friend of mine has two Bi-Slobs, it awsome to see him fly them. I'll try to video him next time he brings one. My oldest son wants one in the worst way. My son flew one but was afriad to try to stunt it. Bill had told him to go for it, since he had two of them.

The kit itself is $99, but for $20 extra having built is nice too. It will probably go on my future build list.

My friend Bill that has two of them, said not to buy the ARF. It's way to heavy. He has an ARF and one he built from a kit. The kit is way lighter and it flies way better, my opinion from outside the circle.

Re: A little Bi-Slob Action !
Thanks for the inside tip on that. I got to wait anyway...mostly because I can barely get in my shop NOW for all the projects in some stage of construction, and also due to collecting bills from an impromptu trip the hospital a month ago. Figure that the bills will trickle in for at least a couple months !!!
Supposed to do some 1/2A U.C. at the airport after work Thursday...we'll see how that goes !

Re: A little Bi-Slob Action !
Bi-Slobs are a lot of fun. I truly believe the Fox .35 works quite well on this plane. We have Bi-slob combat and mass fly's at our club picnics. We've had as many as 8 up at a time. This is some older footage from Brodak's with my son. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtQ6m-DP7G8 My son is looping around another fellow who's hanging the plane. The video makes it difficult to see that but really a good time. This is at 5:00 into the video. This requires him to walk under the lines and back over again. They do the pattern in the same way which is quite cool. Ken

Re: A little Bi-Slob Action !
Oh my... why is it every time I see a new plane I think it's the coolest freakin thing ever, and I've just gotta have it? If I like the Shoestring, I think I'll be building larger planes now. If I could have more than 47 seconds on the SS I would know a little more. Grrrrrrrr! I'm still miffed about that.
I've got a real saw now! I'm gonna be dangerous.
