cox outboard
This was in a car at one time. I made every part myself using a small Unimat lathe-mill. The top of the flywheel for starter rope is made from .049 head as well as propeller shaft housing. Tank is made from anodized aluminum from a pair of crutches. Top down shaft has a ball bearing and bottom uses original cox crank bearing with shaft turned to fit. Has high compression head with replaceable glow plug. Cylinder turned down to fit water cooling pipe. All parts replaceable. I am thinking about a four engine tether car next using as many Cox parts as possible. Also working on a roots type blower for my radial engines. Got to like Cox engines?

Really nice. Great piece of engeneering.
I also thought about a brass cooling pipe for my rc cars. Does it work properly?
