Cox Engine of The Month
Venom Clone

Venom Clone
Here's a clone I put together from various parts. This was just for fun, so I could have a "representation" of a Venom in my collection. I have no intention of trying to pass it off as a real one or sell it as one. Maybe one day I will get a real one, but for now this is as close as I can come. The tank is from a Black Widow and the front half was used to make a Banana clone that you can see as my avatar. I do have several "real" engines too, I don't just fake everything.

Nice. You couldn't leave me alone with it... I'd use it!

Exactly....That's why belonging to Cox Engine Forum Pays!!! Sometimes you have to dis-assemble the engine to spot the fake...Venoms Piston should weigh 1.7-1.8 grams. Reading stuff like this in here gives us the upper hand.

I wouldn't mind having a fake Strato Bug....... It's the only early engine I don't have. Likely never will either seeing as the cheap ones are $500
