010 crankase color
I received my second 010 from ebay today, one of Dan Sitter's engines from a couple of weeks ago, it has much lighter gold anodizing on the crankcase..
Is this one of the later ones from the 80's? my original has a much deeper gold anodizing, just wondering where it fits in the timeline.
Thanks.

Re: 010 crankase color
The gold anodizing can vary by batch and how they were stored. Sunlight can fade the anodizing and extreme handling of the engine can wear it off.

That answers it, thanks alot Jason, much appreciated! i for some reason thought it had to do with the manufacturing date.
