WTB: Cox .049 Piston
I need a new piston. I had a used engine break a rod. Not sure how it happened. The cylinder has next to no time on it. I hope to be able to use it with a new piston. Let me know what you got. I do not need cylinder. Just piston.
Thanks

I was not aware that you offered these. Any chance my previous order has not shipped out yet?

It's a "hidden" listing and we don't advertise it.
Any order placed after 15:00 hrs local time Friday only gets shipped on Monday so, if you have not received a shipping notification, your order has not yet shipped.
Just email your request to theresa@coxengines.ca and she can PP you an invoice with zero shipping cost.
Re: WTB: Cox .049 Piston
Just sent her an email. I accidentally sent one to the company email too. I got an immediate reply notifying me of your hours. You can disregard that email whenever you see it.

That would have been our weekend auto-responder. Theresa will take care of it on Monday.

I didn't know you had those. I'll put a couple in my wishlist next time I log in.

Re: WTB: Cox .049 Piston
Not keen at all on selling them as we have a 2,500+ imbalance of pistons vs. cylinders. We just make the odd exception for good customers
Re: WTB: Cox .049 Piston
Hey Bernie, would I be able to add a Tee Dee starter spring as well? I slapped another pylinder assembly on my Tee Dee that was wore out. It was a #0 Pylinder. It was a little hard to start as a diesel. I am using your diesel head. I think a starter spring would help. My diesel mix is 21% Oil (3 oz All Castor), 40% Ether (5.6 oz John Deere Can), and 39% Kerosene (1.4 Oz John Deere Can, 4 0z pump Kerosene). Once running the oil was a beautiful honey color. It ran very nice. Even when over compressed the oil was still honey colored. It needs to be over compressed to start and then quickly backed off.
