Re: Where to buy Cox engine fuel
You need a mixture of 25% nitro to 18 % Castor oil or as close to that you can find.
Try the Internet for
Sig Champion 25 or
www.ritchsbrew. com.
On Ebay try
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Glowplugboy-1-2A-Cox-049-R-C-Model-Airplane-Glow-Fuel-/290310955396?pt=US_Character_Radio_Control_Toys&hash=item4397e1a184

I doubt that you'll get a call because it's not toll-free.
Try SIG for 1/2A fuel. I prefer 25% and 35% nitro.
Be sure any fuel that you buy has adequate lubbrication.
See www. coxinternational.com "Fuel Guidlelines" for further info. Scroll down the left margin of the site header to find the guide.

Yep, what they said is all good info. I use Glowplugboy Rocket 24 and add a little drugstore castor to it.

Re: Where to buy Cox engine fuel
I run Morgan fuels 15% nitromethane in everything. I am sure 25% nitromethane is better with Cox engines. I add 8 ounces of drug store castor to the full gallon. There is just enough head space in the jug to add the oil, plug and close. I get my fuel at the "local" hobby shop, about 1 hour drive each way.
All my engines like it. My neighbor calls my fuel "slime" though because of the added castor, and how messy it can make a model. I would rather clean the model than replace the engine.
I have also run methanol + 20% castor in cox engines. It runs well, but the engines are hard starting. Bigger engines like this mix better than little engines.
