Re: SOLD! Perfect 1/2A Wheel Retainers
As substitute I've also used a light dab of CA, carefuuly applied to the axle, to retain 1/2 wheels. The trick being keeping the CA out of the hole in the wheel.
Otherwise the wheel ain't a gunna roll.

Dave, I too have been using the dab of CA method. The problem I am running into is the CA doesn't last and my wheels fall off. I have a set of those wheel retainers on My Li'l Wizard and the wheels have stayed on over 35yrs.
That's my experience anyway.

Solder on a little brass washer. Actually, a little blob of solder would probably do.

Re: SOLD! Perfect 1/2A Wheel Retainers
I discovered the CA fixative on my own when one of my metal retainers flew off in flight never to be seen again in the flying turf.
Lacking a replacement metal retainer, did that end my flying for the day?
You tell me.
